Paddle for a cause at Canoe for Cancer on Saturday August 24, 2024! Paddle your way through 13 km of the Trent-Severn Waterway enjoying Gloucester Pool’s idyllic scenery supporting a great cause!
Please get your friends, family, and co-workers together to join us for a day on the water in support of the Canadian Cancer Society. Join us for our 23rd year and help champion world-leading outcomes in cancer prevention, treatment, and support.

End location: Port Severn Park, 39 Minten's Ln,
Port Severn, ON L0K 1S0
Registration time: 8:30 a.m., Big Chute Marine Railway, Upper side
Paddle commences: 9:30 a.m.
Approximate paddle distance: 13 km (paddlers are not required to complete the entire distance)
Additional notes:
- All participants will be required to sign a waiver prior to or on event day.
- A snack will be provided at the clubhouse and a lunch will be provided at the Port Severn Park to all participants.
What to bring
- Please bring your own canoe, kayak, paddleboard, paddle(s), life jacket and safety kit.
- Please also bring your own water and sunscreen.

Join our event
We are proud of our previous history and partnership with the Canadian Cancer Society and are happy to announce over the past 22 years together, we have raised more than $363,148! We kindly remind everyone that this is a pledge-driven event. There is a suggested minimum fundraising goal of $100 per person.
