Strathcona Bruins Vs. Sherwood Park Knights HFC Fundraiser

A personal campaign sponsored by HFC

November 27, 2022

Support me

Please help support the Strathcona Bruins and the Sherwood Park Knight's 2022 Hockey Fights Cancer fundraising efforts. This Puck You Cancer inaugural hockey game is being played due to each and everyone of us knowing someone who has battled this disease.  While we each may have our own reason for joining the fight against cancer, we are all united in our belief that we can make a difference. And your support will too!

When you make a donation to one of our teams, you are providing hope to thousands of people affected by cancer. Your generosity will fund innovative research, provide vital support services to cancer patients and help change lives. A charitable donation receipt will be provided for donations $20 and more.

Any support you can lend would be greatly appreciated! If you receive this e-mail, weblink and have already donated, please forward on to someone you know and ask them to match your donation.

With your donations, the Canadian Cancer Society can continue to:

• Provide critical information – Since the start of the pandemic we have helped 15.9 million people access vital health information about cancer on cancer.ca, helping people better manage life with cancer and answer questions they may have.

• Offer community and connection – During the pandemic, more than 250,000 people visited our supportive online community at CancerConnection.ca, and our Cancer Information Helpline handled 43,952 inquiries via phone, email, text and chat, reducing anxiety and limiting feelings of isolation.

• Fund ground-breaking research – Your donations to CCS fund innovation across the entire cancer continuum to most effectively impact Canadians. Through our Spark grants, we “ignite” ideas that can produce life-changing advancements in cancer prevention and early detection by harnessing the power of new technology in areas including artificial intelligence, robotics and smart devices.

Together, we will change cancer from something we fear, to something all Canadians will live well beyond or never get in the first place.

Happiness and GOOD HEALTH to you all!

Thank You!
