Athens Pancreatic Cancer Marathon

This November, we’re taking on an incredible challenge: running our first marathon in Athens! Along the way, we’re aiming to raise $10,000 for pancreatic cancer research.

Athens (according to legends) is where the original marathon was run from the city of Marathon to Athens by Pheidippides in 490 BCE to deliver the message of the greek victory over the Persians.

Pancreatic cancer is one of the most difficult cancers to treat, but thanks to research, survival rates have improved from just 1.5% in 1975 to 17.4% in 2011. These numbers are proof that progress is possible—but we can’t stop now.

As pancreatic cancer is one of the hardest forms of cancer to treat, we felt it only fitting to choose the worlds toughest marathons to help raise money to fight this disease.

With your support, we can help fund groundbreaking research to push these survival rates even higher and, one day, turn pancreatic cancer into a treatable disease.

Please note that all donations will be put towards pancreatic cancer research.

Follow our training journey, share our story, and consider making a donation. Together, we can make a difference.

Thank you for helping us cross the finish line for this important cause! 💜
