My Story:

Hi! My name is Alexis and I’m a U18 Rep Goaltender for the Lindsay Lynx Girls Hockey Association. I love being a goalie and am in my 9th season between the pipes, playing for a mix of all girls teams, boys teams & co-ed, and beginning my 2nd varsity season in highschool. I’m a part of a very involved hockey family: we spend a lot of time at the rink!

I have dreams of furthering my goaltending career beyond the minor hockey level and chose the October Saves campaign with the Canadian Cancer Society to help young people battling cancer so they have an opportunity to persue thier dreams too.

This cause is near and dear to me as my own grandmother lost her battle with Lymphoma many years ago, as well as other family members. I proudly wear pink to the rink to also support my fellow teammate’s family who has been fighting this battle and I wish to honour their bravery & strength.

My October Saves Goals:

  • Raise over $1500 for the Canadian Cancer Society
  • Stop 1500 pucks in 30 days (Counting in practices, clinics, games, etc)

Donations:

  • Online through this page (Support Me button)
  • Cash donation in person - catch me at the rink (all cash donations will be recorded & submitted manually through this site

*If you require a tax receipt, please make an online donation
