Our Story:
Cancer has touched the lives of many in our community, from players, coaches, parents, and friends. It's a disease that doesn't discriminate, affecting individuals of all ages, including children and young adults. This is why our youth hockey team has chosen to make a stand and help raise funds for cancer research.
Our Goal:
We have set an ambitious goal to raise $10,000 to contribute to the ongoing fight against cancer. With your support, we believe we can reach and even exceed this goal. Every dollar we raise will make a difference in the lives of those battling this devastating disease.
How Your Contribution Helps:
Your donation will go directly to renowned cancer research organizations, funding critical research and clinical trials. It will provide hope to patients and their families, and bring us one step closer to finding a cure. Our team has chosen to directly support Lung Cancer research in support of one of our very own - a special U12A Woolwich Wildcat Dad. We're not just playing for the win on the ice; we're playing for a win against cancer! For the month of November, our team will tape our sticks in white and sport ribbons on our helmets in recognition of Lung Cancer awareness month.
