For the past 13 years, during Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October, Pure Country 105 and Move 99.7 have organized Bras Around the Building to raise funds for the Canadian Cancer Society.
1 in 8 Canadian women are expected to be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime. The funds raised through this amazing campaign have made a massive impact on the future of breast cancer by supporting ground-breaking breast cancer research and support programs.
To date, Bras Around the Building has raised over $178,091.00!

We are excited to share that Bras Around the Building will be taking place with a kick-off date of October 2nd. Bras will be displayed throughout the month at Merrett Home Hardware Building Centre, 1460 Lansdowne St W in Peterborough.
Merrett Home Hardware Building Centre is once again joining us as campaign sponsor by donating $1 dollar for every bra received up to $7,000.
At the end of the campaign, the bras will be turned over to volunteers of the Karanda Mission Hospital, and they will be distributed to women in need in Zimbabwe.
How you can get involved
- Donate a bra or 2 or 3! Donate your gently used bras at our drop off locations.
